last year was so painful watching rondo coming back and the fear he wouldn't fully recover,to have lost forever that magic that is rondo-now he comes back early from another operation puts up the numbers he has -critics have such short memories and are so myoptique-we almost lost a court genius  to injury --remember its early season a young team missing a rim protector and rondo still not 100%-playing down and dirty defense is grueling and with all that lateral motion and fighting over tops of picks dangerous and still coming pack physically and mentally from ACL so give his defense a break-i know, i never recovered from my knee surgery-

Rondo looks great out there.  He looks like someone who could contribute for a contender.  But Boston is a 25-30 win team and Rondo will be an unrestricted free agent within months. I don't think we will be the front runner to resign him. Despite his politically correct responses to questions about his future, I doubt we will be the most appealing situation.

rondo isn't "the" guy....he needs to be on a team where he is the third of a big three.

I agree with this 100%....Houston is the best fit but I don't think they line up with the C's for a deal....

agree with this.  if C's had a couple of superior scorers to put with him, he'd be even more amazing.  Houston does look like that type of situation but I don't think they can compete in terms of a contract.

I'd prefer to keep him and add those players ourselves.

I've been saying this for a while! So TP for you. Most people are assuming he will be your #1 guy and hence all those trade threads we are seeing. Rondo is an all-star and you need more than 1. We need a go-to-scorer to match with Rondo
