then you dont know what tanking is. the score and play shows the celtics wanted to win. so tanking it was not. it was just poor execution amongst a number of things.

Rondo, 8 missed FTs.  no excuse.  the last one was deliberate but 8 misses at the line is inexcusable

Nice game.  Zeller nice job, bass some really good defense, Jeff sweet, another near triple double rondo.
Hate that Bradley pass.  Not blaming rondo for end of game but he needs to stop thinking at free throw line.
Who was guard (Knicks)? Who used to dribble ball to the side to middle to shoot ft so it was more like game situation.  Tp if you know.  Think rr needs to try that

Or equally as bad because this team can't get consecutive stops to save their life.

Only the Lakers and the Wolves are allowing more PPG than the Celtics.  They were 13th in the league last year.  It's considerably worse, while the offense is considerably better.  It's essentially flip-flopped.

He had Ray Allen for how many years and is possibly the worst free throw shooting guard in the league

I know he was bad from the line tonight, but man Ive never seen so many people chomping at the bit to pile on this guy.  He almost had another triple double again.

So many other people helped screw this game up too

yup, very poor execution.  as much as everyone hated the PP iso plays at the end of games, they were a better chance of succeeding than the mess we've witnessed this year.  the lack of that Go-To guy on this team seems to be too confusing for the rest of the roster --> don't know who to defer to at the end to make a play

i know. amazing isnt it? i thought that stevens would keep the team playing credible defense, but not so. who knows? maybe next year they will lead the league in BOTH offense and defense.

Jeff was hitting shots down the stretch.

Offense really isn't the biggest problem for this team. It's the other side of the ball and until they can become at least average there, they'll continue to lose a majority of their games.

I thought waking up to  demoralizing last minute losses had gone out with Doc Rivers (not that I dislike him) but I was wrong.
