DEFENSE IS KEY.

We would be a decent team if we played a little defense

Stevens is going to have to do something about this defense.

Mike

This team is really a shot blocker away from sniffing a low playoff seed.

Offensively we are sound, but we cant stop other teams from scoring.
Defensively sound big men, and stoppers in general are tough to come by.  I posted the other day that we should push some chips in and make a play at Al Horford.  I completely agree with the sentiment.

I'm so **** tired of these 10 player rotations.
at least im not the only one..the only players that should get mins are the starters zeller turner smart n thornton thats it..get bass off the floor plz

I think the rotation hurts at times, too much. he plays some guys even when they are stinking it up. You have to play the guys that are playing better, the longest. Like last game, sitting RR and KO at the wrong times and for too long. You can't do that. I think he doesn't want to ruffle feathers.

I think Stevens should keep rotation / minutes consistent for first 3 quarters. Then adjust late to who is playing well in the 4th quarter.

Too much fluctuation in minutes will have large negative effect as season goes on = why I prefer consistent minutes until late on = players play better when they have consistent minutes and consistent roles.

I'm on board with an Al Horford idea. Give ATL 2 first round picks to start.

This sounds more of a conspiracy, but I worry that the reason he's giving minutes to a lot of players is they are trying to showcase them so they could raise their trade value.

Again, conspiracy.

Yep.  I think Green, the clipper's pick and 2016 Brooklyn pick was my starting point.

When the bench came in Bass ran the offense for 3 straight plays, so dumb
Saw that too. Bass keeps trying to get his since he's playing less mins.

Zeller comes in and gets his points in the rhythm of the game. Big diff.

I'd probably keep Green as much as I can.

Green-Rondo-Horford is a solid core, especially defensively. Id start with two first rounders, either KO or Sully and expirings. Start the negotiation from there.

They specifically ran plays for Bass, which is what confused me.

He's really a power forward even tho he plays center a lot. I'll pass on another PF

Salaries don't work.  I think you need something like Green and Bass.  Horford makes 12+M if I remember correctly.

Fringe all star at best. I'd rather develop Sully and KO
