That's ultimately the point, it obviously won't go anywhere. 

However, I figure if he can constantly troll Rondo and Celtics fans everywhere, he can experience a little push back from the fan base and see what it feels like to sit under the scrutiny he places our athletes and teams under.

What did he do?

From my perspective, I'm not sure that he really is the most negative mediot on the scene, but he might be the worst in general. He's not interesting, or amusing, or likable at all. Over the last few years he's had several contrived moments where he starts screaming in a very Morton Downey jr-ish fashion.

This is pretty shallow, but once in a while on that 6:30 show they flashback to ten years ago for whatever (usually 'Sox WS), and '04 Tanguay is almost unrecognizable to the man on my TV screen now. I know it's common for people to age and gain weight over a ten year span, but good grief he seriously looks like a different person. Same voice though.

I get a kick out of Tanguay sometimes.  There are many more distasteful media personalities out there, IMO.   He's pretty harmless as I don't think he gets taken too seriously even when he rants.

Tanguay does annoy me and I would never watch his show. But he's harmless.  I don't understand how he got that gig.

He went from being a host, the person asking questions to analyst and then let the expert talk... And now he has his own show and is an expert? I don't buy his basketball knowledge at all and would never care to get his opinion.

So instead of firing him, just don't watch whatever show he's on.
