saying it's his hamstring

Comes up injured on the play, tosses the ball to a Toronto player to start the fast break out of frustration.

You would never come to this conclusion if it was Rondo in Rose's place.

I wouldn't have to, it would have been brought up immediately, and been the start of multiple threads as a reason to get rid of him asap. People who maintain laundry lists of his "transgressions" would bring it up on a regular basis as evidence that he's not committed to the team.

if i were chicago i'd consider trading for rondo and switching rose to shooting guard, to keep some of the strain off of his legs. the bulls would be an incredible passing team (the bulls bigs would get loads of easy shots inside), and would have fantastic athleticism as well.
it would be an unconventional move, but IMO it would make the bulls the favorites in the league, and would also give them security if rose goes down for the season.

And who exactly would the Bulls give up for Rondo without creating a big hole elsewhere on their team? I'm sure as far as Ainge is concerned, any trade discussion involving Chicago would start and end with Noah.

Plus I kinda doubt that moving Rose to SG is gonna take any strain off of his legs. He is already more of a shoot first PG, so a move to SG probably wouldn't change the way he plays the game a whole lot. I guess as a SG he wouldn't be required to bring the ball up the court as much, but he's mostly getting hurt on drives to the basket anyways...he's not really getting hurt during general PG duties like bringing the ball past half-court or making passes to teammates

McDermott for starters since they also have Snell and Dunleavy at SF. They also have Mirotic, who can play either F spot, and have Gasol and Gibson at PF and the other players previously mentioned at SF. So they could lose both players, along with filler(s), and not create a "big" whole elsewhere. They also have 2 first rd draft picks this season. Their own, which they have the option to swap with the Cavs, and the Kings, which is top 10 protected.

It depends on whether Danny thinks we have a realistic chance at resigning Rondo, and whether he wants to pay a max contract.

If the answer is no to either question, I think think that a return of a high-potential Euro star, a solid rookie, and two #1s is an alright offer.  Obviously, you see what else is out there, but if Rondo is going to bolt, it isn't a terrible deal.

Mirotic is a pretty phenomenal stretch 4, but we already have Olynyk for that, no? And when the return after that is McBuckets and change, I'm not sure about it.

I'm frustrated that he can't stay healthy so I can't imagine how he feels. The Bulls will seriously be able to challenge the Cavs or Heat for the Eastern Conference title this year if Rose is able to stay healthy from December moving forward.
