One day Avery Bradley sucks the next day he's a superstar, one day Evan Turner sucks, the next day he's our best point guard.  same with every guy on our roster from Rondo to Green. you people have picked apart every player on this roster and have made it known they are not worthy to sit on a Celtic bench. you are so fickle it's really time to tell you to jump ship.  this is a good team and the reason Brad Stevens was handed the reins.
It's time to start believing in this team again and giving these players that have worked so hard, the respect they deserve!!!!

I'm super impressed with the individual performances.  Rondo, Bradley, Green, Sully, Oly, Smart, Turner, Thornton and Bass all look like NBA talent.  I don't know if it's a roster that makes much sense collectively.  We still have some major defensive troubles and there is some major redundancies (shown yesterday when Turner and Thornton seemed to make up for missing Rondo and Smart)... but there's a lot of positive happening here.  The trade chips are gaining value.  Excited to see what Ainge does with this mess.

The problem is just many of us love the Celtics so much we get so emotional one way or the other.

My wife told me to stop yelling at the TV (both angry yelling and loud celebrating) when I watch the game and my response was "then watching the game wouldn't be fun".

We live and die by every play, every game, and we react over the top to everything.  At least, some of us do.

i'm done with Bradley. no flip-flopping here. his D that he was known for is completely gone. I don't care if stats say otherwise. watching him play D is getting comical at this point. saw him completely give up on a play in Chicago, also saw him get shook by Brooks like he was wearing roller skates and it was his first day playing defense.

the guy isn't even a shadow of his former self. and definitely not worth the money he got. we could go get a guard off the street right now that will shoot the ball early in the shot-clock and play the same level of D for less money.

I want a championship.

Guys like Bradley, Turner, Thorton and Pressey won't help us achieve that.

And I too have been done with Bradley for quite some time.

can't dribble , cant finish at the rim, horrible passer , his go to offense is a long 2pt jumper which is the most inefficient shot in the game , Not big enough to guard legit SG's .

Yet he shot around 43 percent from the field and 39 percent from three last year so that's decent efficiency.

Dang. It's a little difficult to play tight D when you have no weak side help or a rim protector. He's also becoming a bigger part of our offense and we can't have him picking up cheap fouls. As far as the early shots in the clock, Bradley is our best pull up shooter. You could make an argument that he needs more shots.

Sounds like the OP has fallen into the classic trap of reacting as though other posters are just one guy with a bunch of different names.  There are lots of different opinions out here, a few posters saying something bad about Turner or whoever one day, then a few others saying something good the next, doesn't equal "the blog" being fickle or hypocritical.  Different people, folks, different people.

AB is in a very different situation than he was 2-3 years ago.  He wasn't really an offensive threat back then, and wasn't starting,(or starting part time when Ray was out), and could afford to be super aggressive on D.  It didn't matter if he picked up 2/3 quick fouls.  Now it does!!  He's too valuable on offensive, as his shooting has improved dramatically, and he can't just go bonkers on D without regard to fouling out!  Marcus Smart is now playing the kind of D AB did back a couple of years ago--knowing he's got a little more room for error with his fouls!  I think people lose site of this with AB, and need to cut him a little more slack!

Right now I want a small smoker. Smoked food is delicious.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
