What a great game tonight by Olynyk.  I'm surprised no one else has started a thread devoted to his play against the Bulls.  Never mind the numbers, he battled hard against the best frontline in the East all night, coming up with a couple of huge in traffic rebounds on both ends down the stretch to help seal the game.  Great stuff from our young (center?)

This was definitely a team win, but Kelly's defense, rebounding, leadership, and overall toughness are what stood out the most to me from this big win.

All I want to know about KO is are we ever going to see him in the post again?  Wasn't that supposed to be a major strength of his coming out of college?  I know that he played well tonight, but I wish that he would play inside the arc for once on offense lol ;D.

It's not really his bag.  He's a seven footer who is better on the perimeter.  That has its pluses.

He's got the complete game, can do it all. I think he's more effective spreading the floor and taking the opponents 5 man away from the rim.

I never questioned his skills but I questioned his mentality. Last year, he looked like a deer in the headlight in the first half. He became more comfortable after the all-star break. This year I'd like to see him more tougher. Picking a fight with KG was one but then most important, making a clutch plays. He showed it against the bulls. I'd like to see of it more

And less pump-fake when you are open please.

There is a reason Danny moved up to make sure the Jazz didn't take Olynyk. 

KO is a unique big man. Outside of Anthony Davis, don't think there are other centers/pf in the nba used to play the point when they were younger.

Liked the Zeller and KO combo out there tonight.  Sully and KO are playing better as a pair also

KO needs the ball in his hands more often, especially in transition. he should be the most efficient offensive player on the team, he's a threat at the perimeter, and can also take it to the rim, so teams have to collapse on him because of his size. and since he has great vision and is a terrific passer, this can lead to all sorts of high-percentage shots for the team.

Yep, he's headed toward a life of double teams--the only one on the team with that potential.

how do you rate his ceiling ,7footer with short arms not much vertical or lateral speed but can run the court, shoot 3's,pass and put ball on floor and get to hoop as well as his basketball IQ , all he has done is improved-another off season of weight training and lateral speed drills another season of nba experience and  with teamates add the refs  giving him some calls-his strengths should improve-a killer 7ft 3point shooter that gets to the hoop this is a defensive nightmare with green on wing

Bill Walton look.....needs beard ....more tuff ness

Kelly has skills and nice balance for a 7 ft man, but some of the WNBA centers would push him around

He needs more big man attitude around the rim .   Call for the ball in the low post.  Catch and turn and dunk.  Stop with the little flips every time around the rim, that's guard play,  make their players understand ....respect me or I'll dunk on you. 

Noah has the mental tuff ness KO lacks and KO has the fine basketball touch NOAH lacks .
