Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

I like that Stevens is still coaching here
The coach did everything he could possibly do to guide this team through that final stretch.  He coached a great game.
yes, so many times you could see stevens plays result in a basket. the celtics are lucky to have him. i loved it when with 0.8 seconds left he calls a time out to make sure NOTHING goes wrong and when the team was lackadaisical in returning to the huddle stevens yelled at them to move their butts.  ;D

this is his team.
He's really putting his imprint on it this season. I thought he was a great college coach.  I'm really psyched he's here now.

I don't know how anyone can watch that game and come away thinking KO wasn't impressive.  He was great on D and more than held his own rebounding.  He knocked in a couple threes, had a couple drives, and set good picks like always.  What more could anyone want?

ET has some scoring talent but I am amazed at his stupid play.  He and Thorton have no situational basketball sense.

Not sure why Sully didn't play towards the end but then again, they had Gasol off the floor down the stretch at times too.

The Bulls looked tired and slow.  We seemed rested even though we played last night and had a really good night shooting.  Good win but we can't rely on that kind of outside shooting night in and night out.
and yet, i predict within a week someone will post how ainge should have drafted antetokounmpo based upon his fantastic potential. by the way, tonight, olly has  18 points 11 rebounds and 1 assist. antetokounmpo had 12 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Zeller

Needs to play more.....the guards and him need more floor time to get on the same page. His play was excellent

Zeller and KO were huge in this win.

See what we can do against Perk  ;D

KO did a great job of challenging shots without fouling... well minus that one at the end where Brooks jumped into him.

Gotta say...on the replay, KO stepped out of bounds on that key offensive rebound, just before flinging it out to mid-court.

For sure---but I'll take it---cause that so-called TRAVEL on KO a bit earlier, started the Comeback for the Bulls.

no one expects a 7ft to move with the ball that way, refs assuming there. if you are a big, shoot it or pass it is the thought.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Olynyk was good pick but you can't really fault someone for feeling that Giannis would have been a great pick. Giannis has superstar potential. Olynyk has fringe All-Star potential (ceiling: Vlade Divac).

Um, just to update the Giannis vs. KO stat line tonight - the Greek Freak also finished with 18 points, but also had 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 7 free throw attempts (of which he made 6) in 30 minutes off the bench against a very talented Memphis team, which lost it's first game of the year this evening.

I don't see superstar potential in Giannis.....

Okay, I didn't watch the second half, but I can tell from everyone on here is saying that Turner was all Katy Perry tonight ;D.  From what I saw of him, I really liked his passing, in particular, over the firs two quarters, but I guess that he's going to be like Tony Allen, ugh, with the whole 'good evan, bad evan' routine ;D.  Still, it was by far his best game of the year, and he only had 2 turnovers - excellent.

Also, I was going to say that the only reason why we won was because Chicago was playing its 4th game in 5 nights, but then I remembered that we were playing our 3rd game in 4 nights, and without Rondo AND Smart, so I take it back - they might have been tired, but so were we, and we still won.  Excellent.  I'm not saying that it was the best win in the world, but it's nice to see Thornton actually show up lol ;D and Turner, obviously.  Nice game, guys :).
