I'd do 1 + 3 if you took KO out. Problem is:

Denver doesn't need Green,
Green would never stay in Utah and they don't need him with GH,
Green would never stay in Milwaukee and they don't really have a pressing need for him either

Not too keen on starting Wallace or Turner... and having the other play extended minutes.

I never wanted to trade green.  I like watching him play, and I can deal with the inconsistent play I guess.  We don't have any guys that can do what he does, shoot the 3, take the ball to the rack, athletic enough to hamper the melos/lbj's.  He just isn't the alpha dog we all want, but that doesn't mean he not still valuable.

Wish we did Green for Asik straight up...That trade would of been great for both parties.

I still don't buy the new and improved Jeff Green.  If I'm sure of one thing about him based on what he's given us so far in green, it's that Jeff Green can be very inconsistent.  So I'll hold off any praise or admiration for another 15 games.

The 20 game rule seems appropriate I have to agree.  I still like him as a player.  Until we can draft or trade for players that are better scorers and athletic, he is what we have.  I don't really want to trade him away for a bunch of scraps and maybe a draft pick.  Maybe I am selfish, but I want to see us win some games this year.

Why trade Green ? He's just starting to get his game back, and his aggressiveness couldn't be better. He's learning who he needs to be, & has the right coach to put him in positions to succeed.

Keep him, keep Rondo, Ainge has already built a treasure chest of assets. No need to get more when you're a big man away from being a perennial playoff team.

Wait it out, and strike when that 5 man becomes available. When he arrives, you'll need the Rondo's and Green's right beside him. You have enough ammo in the tank that will allow you to bring in that big without giving up Rondo or Green.

Btw, Green's stock is always high. GM's in this league aren't stupid. Any team could use a player like Green. His ability, athleticism, and NBA body allow you to do multiple things all throughout the game. He can be used in every aspect. He can play 3 positions and guard 3 positions to boot.

You don't just give this up for chump change.

Jeff Green is perfectly capable of being the third best player on a championship team something like a Mark Aguire on the Bad Boy Pistons. Rajon Rondo could absolutely be the best player, not unlike an Isiah Thomas.

If Avery can somehow morph into Dumars, then what we really need is a tough rim protector like Laimbeer (Asik?) and an athletic freak wild card type like Rodman(and to think we could've had Antetokumpo). The pieces have been out there recently, we just need a bit of luck and we're right back there in the playoffs.
