Man is he aggressive these days.  On several occasions last night after Mavs scored a crucial basket to widen the lead , Green in a blink of an eye was on the other end going hard to the basket having one or even two guys draped all over him.  Who is this guy??

That's the guy we are hoping him to be. I wouldn't get too excited though. I'd like to see him having a double digit scoring streak in at least 10 games.

He had streaks of 12 and 11 games last season.

More of that please. If he keep its up, making the all-star team isn't a  far reach

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Yeah, with Rondo the playmaker back in full-swing, the 20 ppg projections from last year may end up coming to fruition - especially if he can keep up his assertiveness. Happy for him so far.

In those clips, its obvious Parsons can't keep up with Green, and Dirk is a lousy helpside defender.

Jeff Green is Jeff Green.  He's basically been the same player for 6 years.  Expect more of the same.  He's not making a leap at this point in his career.

As I like to say, Jeff Green is so consistent that he'll probably give you the same level of production when you surround him with 4 D-Leaguers as when you surround him with 4 HOFers.

I would normally i agree with you. Can't be fooled again. But so far these first three games he has played the same way.  Maybe it's his added bulk, bc he is due for a a new contract, or he is tired of being laughed at or a combination of these things.

He and Avery are very good friends and these guys maybe are tired of being mediocre and turning it up a notch.

I hope he can keep it up.

Jeff Green has been at this way too long for people to take anything away from 3 games. Especially when you look at the 3 games. His first two were for 17 points each (around his PPG in his best seasons), and he is shooting 44% on the year.

I would love to see him average 23 points over an entire season, even if with only Rudy Gay efficiency, but 3 games is nothing compared to 6 seasons.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'm happy that he's not shown the bad Jeff Green yet.

Im not expecting great efficiency from him, but I like that he's being active on the court. 23 point on 44% shooting in the last three games, hope he can continue that kind of production. Hopefully he can get to the line more than just 5 attempts per game (maybe raise it to 8).
