During training camp Stevens talked a lot about finding the best five-man lineup out of this bunch. After playing the one below for the majority of tonight's second half (near) comeback vs. Dallas, I think we can make a guess as to which one he likes the most so far:

Rondo
Bradley
Smart
Green
Sully

Personally I like the lineup as well. What lineups have you been intrigued by these past three games?

PS. Anyone else concerned about Olynyk? He seems hesitant on the court, offensively and defensively. He's reluctant to shoot and slow on defensive rotations, as if he doesn't know where he's supposed to be. As unfair as it is to Sully I'd consider playing him at C when the two are out there together. Olynyk is getting dominated by opposing centers and it appears as if it's killing his confidence. Sully seemed resilient last year even when he was getting beaten up by seven-footers, sprinkling in some monster games (close to 20-20 a few times, if I'm correct) throughout the year.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

Olynyk is listed as the center, but he hasn't been guarding the opposing teams' centers.  That's already Sully's job.

I agree with you, though, on your initial point.  I really like the Rondo, Bradley, Smart, Green, Sullinger lineup.

They were certainly good tonight.

I've noticed some of this (Oly defending PFs) as well, but I don't think it's fair to say that he hasn't been guarding opposing centers at all. I fell asleep during the first half of tonight's game and he didn't play much in the second so I can't say who he guarded for the majority of tonight's game, but certainly during the Houston game Sully was on Terrence Jones with Oly (& co.) on Howard for a good portion of the game.

Sorry, you've got that wrong.  At least to start the game, Sully was on Howard and Kelly was on Jones.  Tonight, they started the game with Sully on Chandler and Kelly on Dirk.

Tried to consent the bball-ref boxscore of the BOS-HOU game (as I said, fell asleep for the beginning of the DAL game so no argument there) and couldn't find any defensive stats that would suggest who Olynyk guarded for the majority of the game. I know I saw Sully guarding Jones on a number of plays with Olynyk (& co.) checking Howard on the weak side, but you certainly could be right that Howard was Sully's primary defensive assignment. I can't say one way or the other because I can't remember who Sully started off on the beginning of the game. Admittedly there are any equal number of plays that I remember in which Sully was on Howard, but my memory is telling me that that was happening later in the game after Olynyk had been repeatedly torched down low.

Memories are fallible anyway, and as a fan of Sully, I'm glad to hear that he can't fairly be dubbed the scapegoat for Jones' 25 point outing.

TP for the discussion.
