Absolute crap journalism right there.

I mean, that should be common sense already. Even the end of bench players on the Lakers squad is bothered that they haven't won yet. Unbelievable.

If you dont have anything smart to say, dont talk.

Sure the journalist was being an a.......le, but there is something to be said about Kobe's answer. This is only the beginning of the season, it's debatable whether they'll reach 20 wins, and he has already exploded.
I can't wait when he gets to the blaming part: will it be the front office, teammates, Byron Scott or all of the above?

Kobe isn't "exploding," he just responded to an absurdly stupid question with the proper amount of derision you'd expect.

Personally I am delighted by the laker start. But now I want Kobe to put the lakers on his aging back and carry them to the sixth worst record in the nba, that way Phoenix gets their draft choice.  :)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

That would be amazing. He hits a few game winners and goes 12 from 36, 6 turnovers and seals their pick switch with a fadeaway jumpshot on the buzzer.
One thing I don't want is them picking a franchise player in the next draft. I would hate for them to get Muiday. Ugh.

Read that last line again. One more time.

I see no way they don't get a top three pick . >:(

Lord they are bad .

With Gasol they would have been out of the Lottery ...but not good enough to make 8 th seed at most.

It is literally impossible to be simultaneously out of the lottery and not good enough to make the eighth seed.

this.  Kobe being who he is will be good enough to carry that team the the 6th worst record.  if that team can keep it close he'll do everything he can to win the game.  Kobe's pride will have him dragging that team as far from the bottom as he can regardless of whether having a pick higher than 5 hurts the team's long term prospects

At least he was polite and answered it instead of calling them retarded like LeBron does.

I'm not sure how polite that was, but I will say that a stupid question deserves a stupid answer, especially when you're just fishing for a pull quote.

Festively jovial sounds so excited that I'm not sure I've seen it or how someone who feels that way looks.  He might be.  I'm not sure.

I thank the reporter for asking.
