never shoot till someone is in the paint.......

I don't think they're coached that way.

At sometime somebody besides Bass needs to hit an outside shot.

Put in James Young.

I don't see anything in smart to suggest he will ever be a good offensive player?

A bit too early to make those sorts of declarations.
Its early.  But not too early to make a call in what I see.  The guys isn't explosive to the rim.  And he can't shoot.

I rather give a young player more than two games before I write off his NBA career.

Yeah because if the first two games of a season determine how good a player is going to be,  then its not looking good for the future of the NBA.  Nerlens Noel, Andrew Wigging, Dante Exum, Jabari Parker are all busts...and Randle is the next Greg Oden.
Once again, ZERO to do with numbers.  People are afraid to judge talent.

Well so much for the 2nd unit cutting into that Rockets lead.

Having Dwight Howard out there with the Rockets 2nd unit was a good call by McHale. Anchored them on both ends of the floor.

Let Howard go to the bench and put Smart on Harden.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Howard and Harden get so many star calls it's ridiculous.

Poor sequence by Olynyk.  Careless turnover then passes up an open 3.  Leads to a shot clock violation.

If Kelly isn't going to freaking shoot, get him out of there!

Exactly. He's not getting minutes for his defense, that's for sure.

I'm making an evaluation on talent, not two games.  There is a difference.

Smart only shot one 3? He did pretty well in game 1
I and say he can't shoot.  You disagree?

KO is good..but his "boy-wonder" dookie has to end.....he needs to know what to do and when by now on offense......then bringing the ball up is never a good idea in times like this...
