Rondo has been pretty quiet.

Yeah rondo doesn't look good, not being able to use his other hand is really affecting his playmaking.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

We can get back to the game really quick if we get a bit of luck with the 3's.

I know it's still early in the season but Thornton's D has been such a pleasant suprise. He's playing relatively smart and with a lot of effort.

I don't see anything in smart to suggest he will ever be a good offensive player?

A bit too early to make those sorts of declarations.
Its early.  But not too early to make a call in what I see.  The guys isn't explosive to the rim.  And he can't shoot.

I rather give a young player more than two games before I write off his NBA career.

Yeah because if the first two games of a season determine how good a player is going to be,  then its not looking good for the future of the NBA.  Nerlens Noel, Andrew Wigging, Dante Exum, Jabari Parker are all busts...and Randle is the next Greg Oden.

This is why we need a center ...no,chance against a team with a big man

We need Marc Gasol

Right now, Zeller is the best we got. But somehow he is below Bass on the rotation list.

Stevens, you got to be better than that.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Zeller is doing a decent job on Howard.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I'm making an evaluation on talent, not two games.  There is a difference.

Well so much for the 2nd unit cutting into that Rockets lead.

Having Dwight Howard out there with the Rockets 2nd unit was a good call by McHale. Anchored them on both ends of the floor.

Smart only shot one 3? He did pretty well in game 1
