There are still 2 or 3 games left against the Rockets, right? We just need to put a better job. It's just a bad day that we couldn't afford anything but bricks. It's not like Doc Rivers era always have a lights out shooting either.

We only play teams from the Western Conference twice during the regular season...once at home and once away.  And, teams within the Eastern Conference four times.  2 home 2 away.

The dreamers are preparing to play Houston a third time in the NBA Finals.  : )

I think it is safe to say we got a D or F on this test.  Green played well though.

Brad should have started Zeller and Sullinger.

Yeah, we didn't have an answer for Dwight, but 14 & 8 isn't that bad. Jones went off on us and we couldn't hit shots. Thought we'd do better tonight.
The issue with Dwight as much as anything is he draws so many dang fouls and forces rotations that open up the court around him.

We were in the penalty so dang quick. Still if we could have bought a 3 in the first three quarters we'd have at least had a chance.

KO was too timid with the Rockets bigs.  He let Jones push him around too much.  He needed to knock Howard and Jones with some elbows ,  earn some respect down low......Celtics just let the Rockets set up house keeping in the paint and have their way.

If Sully was 7 ft

This game might have been different.

Wasn't an accident C's played better with Zeller in there.  He is more of a real center than KO and Sully .   Without a quality center ,   To throw in against teams that play in the paint, this is going to happen.

A lot of Jones game was making help to Dwight pay by slashing in and hitting the boards.  Some of it was also being way too quick for Sully on a few plays.  I think that showed how Dwight draws doubles.  Jones is a good player though too I like him.

I just posted this in another thread but I feel like if we hit a reasonable amount of threes this would have been at least a pretty competitive game.  Which was all I was expecting.  I think Houston is really good.

The free-throw differential was very hard to overcome, even harder when our shot wasn't falling from anywhere.

Encouraging though is that we held Houston to 42% shooting, so our defense wasn't all THAT bad, which is hard to fathom considering the results.

It's more of more discipline in the foul department, and honestly the refs were ridiculous last night... we also got hammered when we went inside and never got any calls.

Here are the test questions
Question 1. Who has the better Coach: Answer Celtics
Question 2. Who has the better Point Guard Answer Celtics
Question 3. Does James Harden stand a chance against Avery Bradley: Answer No
Question 4. Is Dwight Howard Good Enough to beat us: Answer No
Question 5. Who will win the game : Answer Celtics

If you answered all those questions correctly you receive an A+ for that test Celtics will pass that test easily

This was a horrible test.

We didn't pass that test, that's for sure.  Time to learn from it and move on to the next test.

There'll be a lot of cramming to do over the course of the next couple of days.

Does anyone know what in the world happened to Marcus Smart last night? Kid couldn't get on the floor after looking great in game one...Didn't agree with leaving Bradley in so long, while he was doing NOTHING on the floor.

This is my concern with having 2,000 guards on the team...Smart needs to play. I was NOT a fan of the guard rotation last night.
