Disgusted that Ainge waived W.Bynum in order to keep Pressey.
Will Bynum was a top 10-15 backup PG in the league for last few years. Pressey is a borderline case to even be in the league. Awful.
Strong words that don't consider the bigger issue, finding playing time for that type of player (over Smart, Bradley, Turner, Thornton) which could be a big negative on the bench, we're jammed as it is.
Secondly, from a financial standpoint, it would've been better to keep Bynum, but Pressey's contract next year as marginal as it is, it's more useful. And for the little play time we actually have available to give Pressey just fits better even if Bynum is leagues better.
You're better off just letting Bynum go even if it's a decrease in talent (unused as it will probably be).
So in the end I don't see this as much of a Bynum vs. Pressey issue, but an opportunity issues and the problems it may cause when it's lacking.
