Making the game that much shorter pretty much puts alot of the statistical records (single game, season, and career) out of reach, too. That's something I'm betting quite a few players will not like.

It was the coaches. Matter of fact, I think they said CBS and Hollins (nets coach? lol) volunteered. They said the league, coaches, and tv people like the idea. No mention of the players. I have seen stuff elsewhere with players say they don't like it.

This year? Probably not significantly better enough to really matter for the Hawks.

I did not like the shortened game.   If they want a better game lose the TV time outs, if it is about player safety then this would be the best.   Of course, this will not happen because of commercial money.

I think our bigs got owned by the Jordan guy.   He killed us in the fourth.    This was otherwise not a bad game for Sully who played well.    I thought the lineup of Green at PF, Turner, Bradley and Smart and Sully at C was intriguing and got us back into the game.

It's all about money, nothing else.  The game will be shortened but more commercials and ads.  They're going to try and fit as many commercials as possible within the same timeslot.  MONEY.

I didnt even notice it was a shorter game.

The pace was a little faster though , which i didnt mind seeing at all
