Assume everyone is healthy and that you want to win the game with no concern given to player development.   Given the current roster, who do you want on the floor for the final possession with the Celtics down two with less than 20 seconds, in-bounding the ball at half-court?

I definitely want Rondo, Bradley, Green, and Olynyk on the floor.  Depending on matchups, I can see the fifth player being Sullinger, Zeller, or Turner.

With the ball?  Rondo, Thornton, Green, Sully, Olynyk.  If we want to spread the floor and not worry about offensive rebounds, put in Bradley for Sully.

Rondo
Thornton
Green
Turner
KO

Two go-to drive the ball guys in Green and Turner, shooter in KO and Thornton, Rondo to deliver the pass;

I have to admit that I like the logic of your lineup.  If Turner can learn to be a decoy, and give up the ball to the open man this would work even better.

The whole thing depends on the matchups as well.  I can see Sully or AB being in there as well depending on who is playing def against us.

interesting line up.

i wouldnt have thought of it, but it does make sense since all the team needs is a score. those are the guys most likely to give it to you. now by the end of this season, we may find that young belongs on that list. but that is only speculation right now.

Rondo, Turner, Bradley, Sullinger, Olynyk.

No Jeff Green. I note his clutch play tends to come and go as much as his flashes of inspiration.

Rondo/Bradley/JeffGreen/Sullinger/Olynyk

Fewer than 20 seconds left, but UP two on defense, what's your lineup?

Bradley
Smart
Gerald Wallace
Jeff Green
Powell

These five guys could nurse a five-point lead with 5:00 left and I'd feel pretty secure the C's would win.

The shooters.

He's probably not a great option to salvage a broken-down play, but he probably would be my first choice to take an open shot if you draw up a play to get someone open.

If I need to score and there's time for a pass or two, I want Rondo in without a doubt.

From there, it's Thornton for scoring, with Turner, Sully, and Olynyk.

Not sure what that means I think about Jeff Green...

I mean, who is the better scorer in a must-score situation, Thornton or Green?

I suggest you look into Green's stats in clutch situations in the 4th quarter. You'll be surprised by the results.

It's possible that one is the better scorer if you run an end-of-game iso but the other is the better scorer if you run a play designed by Brad Stevens which requires the player to be more precise in execution to get an open shot.

Since iso-ball is generally inefficient, I prefer whoever is the better scorer in the second context.  If the play involves taking an open three in an attempt to win the game outright, I think that Green's emotional even keel is a good trait to have for someone who is being assigned to take a shot in a high-pressure situation.
