  • Bo Knows: Joe Don't Know Diddley
Antagonist: Raylan Gives
Love Interest:
Badass: Daryl Dixon
Best Friend:
Mentor: Al Swearengen
Wildcard: Seth Bullock
Primary Antagonist: Captain Jean-Luc Picard

I'm a bit flummoxed where to go next. Raylan doesn't have 'friends'.

I was hoping you'd pick Rust Cohle and team him up with the inevitable Raylan pick.

I had a very strong feeling when IP announced this draft that he was gonna end up with both Raylan Givens and Seth Bullock.

I guess I should have known Swearengen was gonna be in there too.

As soon as Cohle came off the board I realized, 'you done messed up, playa.'

Quick early peek into IP's show: Raylan (older brother) 'got out' from their idealogue father's reach very young. Seth (younger brother) followed in his footsteps. It would not be unfair to characterize it as 'justified in space, but a lot like Firefly too'

Throw-Away Ideas, #1: My all-Adult-cartoon show
Prereq's: No nostalgic cartoons, only cartoons that air after 10pm
Protagonist: Archer, Archer
Love Interest: Lana, Archer
Funny Guy: Carl, Adultswim
Best Friend: Nathan Explosion, Metalocalypse
Badass: Brock, Venture Brothers
Mentor: General Hunter Gathers, Venture Brothers
Wildcard: William Murderface, Metalocalypse
Primary Villian: Killface, Frisky Dingo
Secondary Villian: Kenny Loggins, Archer

Show: Archer is sent deep undercover to foil a terrorist plot as Dethklock's manager. Killface has appeared as Dethklock's new spiritual guru and has gotten Nathan Explosion into Tuvan Throat Singing. But Killface belives that if he uses that weird Tuvan throat singing to get the entire world to echo certain notes he can summon HP Lovecraft's Cthulu to devour the world. Kenny Loggins is trying to kill Dethklock because he believes they're the reason his new single never landed. Lana is having a lot of fun being a groupie and is very Almost Famous about it, driving Archer insane. Brock is a roadie, and Hunter Gathers is like a Deadhead following the band.

I suppose you all have a right to know how my team is shaping up.  This is not a done deal, but it's looking a lot like this.

1 Leading Man or lady  (any genre) Tyrion
1 Love interest (man or woman or robot, don't care) Khaleesi
1 Funny Man (or Woman)
1 Badass
1 Best friend
1 Mentor Sherlock
1 Wildcard (like a Flex in Fantasy Football) Cpt Mal
1 Primary Antagonist Terminator
1 Secondary Antagonist Hannibal
1 Theme Song (from an existing TV Show, or not. Hell, write it yourself.)

Which years? If that's 1989 to say 1998 or 1999. I agree. If it includes the later years up to now, then no.

You want a quick concept for a show? With CRTC approved Canadian content?

On tonight's Canadian Stories, we look at the life and times of Rebus Rankin. Rebus began his acting career as a child, playing the part of Joey Jeremiah's younger brother, Jake Jeremiah on the hit CBC series Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High. Rankin went on to play Gordie, the drug addicted hockey star with a heart of gold on the CTV series Edgemont. Rankin bottomed out after this and ended up down and out in MooseJaw, Saskatchewan. However he would rebound and landed the role of Leo, the mechanic on the hit CTV series, Corner Gas. Today, Rankin plays principal Hawerchuck on the CBC series, Mr. D.

Next week on "When Bad Meets Evil"...

Was it the unwelcome newcomer to Texas...

Or the son of recently slain, ousted former tycoon and long-time archival, Doc McKay...

Meanwhile, girlfriend of prime suspects, Ricky, and brother of Dylan, Kelly Taylor has been reported missing...

Further speculation on who might be responsible for the disappearance of stunning beauty center around the purported underground ties of known associate of oil tycoon JR Ewing, the man responsible for the rise of Texas Governor Blake.

Tune in next week for the thrilling events as they unfold!!!
