Here's my plan:

I'm going with David Fisher from 6 feet under is my lead.

 Dexter will be my best friend , however he will act more as an alter ego.

 Dexter will operate out of the Morgue the guise of David Fisher funeral home owner.  I reserve the right to somehow turn this into a comedy.  I think it can be done.  And I'm just the guy to do it.

I watched 6 feet under again  this past summer.  I had never seen the last couple of seasons.  It dawned on me that there were some definite parallels, beyond both characters being played by the same guy.
