If turner can handle the point guard responsibilities I really like the idea of these two playing together is smart can play like we did and just be aggressive play defense and be aggressive on the offensive end as well and school hoops take it to the hole play Physical and reckless like he always does interner can handle at least 70 of the ball handling and passing I think they have a chance to be dynamic because of smarts tenacity and turners ball handling and heady play what do you guys think.

If Turner+ Smart/AB works well Rondo is 200% gone
the question is how much you can get by trading Rondo

combining 2 below average shooters in the backcourt doesnt sound good to me.
rather have smart-bradley for the future.

I assume this is for the here and now, not the future so I would rather see Turner and Bradley as the starting back court, assuming that Turner becomes the primary bring the ball up the court guy.  A key though is not to always have the same guy bring the ball up the court off rebounds.  Just get the ball up the court.  Then if you end up in a set, let Turner run it.  I know it is not ideal but I think this lets us put the best players on the court.  Defensively, Bradley covers the PG and Turner the SG.  Green can handle the ball to as well as Olynyk as needed to get the ball up the court (and Bradley can do it as needed also) so we don't need to throw Smart out there just to have a designated guy to dribble up the court.

I like bringing Smart along more slowly.  Have him play with the second team where there will be fewer sets to worry about, he will be getting going against lesser talent, and he can have a bigger role with the second unit (bigger fish-smaller pond idea).  I have high hopes for Smart just not at the very start of his very first season.  We are not that good of a team no matter what we do to start the season so I see no benefit from throwing Smart out there faster than we would otherwise.
