Being from Ohio, OSU was never stronger than in the 60's. The ET and Sullinger teams would not have been top flight or beat the likes of UK or Duke. It is mainly a football school these days but Thad Matta has had some nice teams. Clark Kellog was probably the best OSU pro since the days of Havlicek. Conley is decent. Oden was a bust. ET is on the edge of bust and Sullinger is just beginning his journey. But being a star at OSU does not always translate to NBA success. MI and MI State and IND have done the best at NBA guys in the big ten. MN did have Kevin McHale, Bird went to IND but transferred to IND state a non big ten school. That being said I hope they do well in the pros and enjoy their chance to play together.
ET would have been a fool to stay in school. He was a number 2 pick and I doubt he would have been higher had he stayed. Sully might have gone higher has he not stayed in school so long as he dropped in the draft for various issues.
