do we see any of this guys playing for 15-20years of there career as boston celtics
or playing as boston celtics until 35+ of age
someone who can be our veteran player all time celtics great player as paul pierce before traded at the age of 35+

smart young olynyk bradley sullinger still have some more potentials to develop that could turn into something great someday or in coming years,
even though not a hall of famer, but at least one of the all time celtics great players

not like lebron drafted by cleveland went to miami then go back
dallas with dirk, spurs with duncan, and miami with d-wade until they retire to where they are drafted

do we see any of these drafted players playing for us until retirement? being traded?
or unless ainge is gone as a GM?

  • About five seconds after 17 O'clock!!
I figure they were being picky given Rondo wasn't drafted by Boston.

Maybe redo the thread title to read something such as "which player will play their entire career with the celtics"

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm not sure. Even if they have a long career as a celtic, I'm afraid that they will be traded at some point. See Paul Pierce.

maybe depends on how long Danny Ainge is the President of Basketball Operations?

I assumed that's why Olynyk didn't get a ballot.  Which is a pretty picky interpretation of NBA draft day trades.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guarantee that Fab Melo will never play for a team other than the Celtics.

Yeah, my vote would be none. Seriously, who was the last player to spend his entire NBA career as a Celtic?

Other than scrubs who played a little bit then were out of the league, it would be Bird, right?  McHale was drafted by another team but didn't play for them.

I agree, but if it were to be anyone I hope it would be Smart. He's going to be a star.

Boom.

Of the given choices, I was gonna say Young because of those choices he's the most likely to flop and only play a couple NBA seasons for the celtics then go over seas or something.
