On a Reddit thread about the initial Tweet, a Lithuanian user went back and listened to the actual radio interview the "quote" was from. And transcribed it a little better—or at least a little fuller. Here's what Donatas Motiejunas actually said:

    Q: When communicating with Howard and Harden, what do you talk about?

    A: Basically I say just "Hello" and "Goodbye" to them.

    Q: They don't invite you to barbecue or something?

    A: No, they eat different food than me.

    Q: What? Do you mean they eat oysters?

    A: No... being European, I am more likely to eat oyster than them. They eat fast food.

And later in the same interview:

    Q: You once said to Dwight Howard "Catch me if you can". Did he reacted to this saying in any way?

    A: Yeah, we sometimes make jokes about it during practice. He is a fun guy to be around in general. He is the soul of the team, someone who is fun to have in a locker room.

Its already been deemed not accurate. There was some translation issues with D-Mo. And some words were taken out of context.

A reddit user translated the accurate description:

I'll continue to believe the original tweet, because I dislike Howard.

Don't get me wrong, I have a sneaking suspicion that Dwight is, at best, a "meh" teammate, but how's he supposed to steal your curly fries when you look away if he's eating by himself?

As far as I'm concerned, Howard has always been known as a great teammate. The difference between him and ORL Howard, is that he was still too immature to be the clear cut leader, that the Magic desperately needed.

Howard has never been treated as if hes a terrible teammate. In ORL, he just wasn't the leader or acceptable mature cohesive teammate in the locker room that SVG needed to propel his team further.

Demo goes to Lietuva every year to work with his Olympic team. It's possible he has different expectations for teammates. On the other hand he's been sorta a pro since he was pretty young, so maybe not. I don't think Demo is really a critical guy. I think what you're seeing here is just trying to be a businessman and illuminate some reality.
