Even though it was outside the US... it should be a cause for concern.. especially since he collided with a stinkin bus.
Can we try to stay healthy after your meniscus tear?? Come on, man!

Faverani reportedly collided with a bus after running a red light in Valencia, according to La Opinion de Malaga. The paper reported there were no injuries, but noted that Faverani registered a blood-alcohol rate that was three times the legal limit when twice tested by police.

El Hombre Borracho!

Not cool hitting a bus, could have ended very differently.  Europe has public transportation everywhere and he could have got a cab.

poor decision. i think this is an honest mistake. he seems like a classy stand up guy most of the time, all about work and basketball. i just dont get it sometimes with these professional athletes and DUIs. i guarantee someone from the team would have personally driven him anywhere he wants if it meant he wouldnt drive drunk... he should have assistants or fellow international players or friends or even opportunist friends on speed dial who can be subservient to him on a whim.

I don't get this athletes.  What is so hard about calling a cab when you're making as much as they are.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would

Sounds like El Hombre Ebrio might need to rehab more than his knee.

At least he hit the bus and not vice versa... even better at least he didn't hit a pedestrian.  Things could have been a million times worse.  He should consider himself fortunate.

What's of the biggest concern to me is........."THREE TIMES THE LEGAL LIMIT"!!!  I don't know what the legal limit is in Spain but I'm sure if it was different than the states, they would have mentioned it.    No Bueno, Mr. Vitor!!!!!

The alcohol limit in the US is 0.08%. In Spain it is 0.05%. So faverani was basically double the US limit. Still a lot.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Are you actually going to give the Raptors anything of value? 'cause there's not really any reason for them to agree to that otherwise.
