Guess it depends on how much OKC still values the ghost of Perk but it seems like a win/ win to me
Both team gets to shed some payroll: Cs lose about $3 mill; OKC loses over $2 mill after waiving Bogans
Cs get Perk for 10-15 minutes a night of rim protection, and on an expiring contract, while freeing up logjam at the 4
OKC gets a rotation 4 behind Ibaka who can give them something offensively, and still play plus D
The 2nd seems like a fair balancing since OKC would get the best player plus the advantage of the Bogans non-guaranteed....
Maybe this is not the deal DA wants to do right away, but something to think about come November/ December, if our roster still is the same and the Jan 7 guarantee date on Bogans approaches....
