What's your guess on Evan Turners contract?

I'd say 2 years 5 million. Hopefully on the lower side of the MLE. I'm worried about a player option on the second year though.

Is that 2 years, $5 million each year, or $5 million total?

I think 2 years, $9 million.  $4.4 mil in year 1, $4.6 mil in year 2.  No option for either side.

2 years, $8M. No team or player option on 2nd year.

I'm hoping for 5 total... maybe just because I undervalue ET.

Good signing for 2.5/year (hoping Danny is smart) - and meh signing for anything too much higher.

Bradley just got 8 mil a year, I would say Turner is worth at least half that much (4-5 mil a year)

$2.5 is less than the room exception which is $5.6 million over 2 years.  There's no way he gets that little unless his reputation is completely shot around the league.

Multiple GMs thought he'd be a minimum contract sort of guy.

His reputation is pretty shot at this point after how poorly he played for the Pacers.

I'm hoping its a one year deal, no need for more than that.

I still can't get over the fact that Evan Turner's nickname is ET.

You weren't thinking about what kind of contract this guy would get if he could be lured to the Clippers?

  • On To Banner 19!
I'm going to guess 2 years/8 million (4M per year) with a team option second year.

4M sounds about right with Bradley earning 8M/yr, and i think next year's offseason when we re-evaluate and hopefully make moves, we can have the opportunity to decide whether we would like to keep Turner in our quest for banner 18 or not.

I'm hoping he can mature with Stephens, and like Crawford, turn into a great scorer (10-15 pts avg per game with an occasional 20 point outing every now and then?)

I'd say 2/7, probably with year one equal to the level of the taxpayer's mini-midlevel [$3.278 million] (to avoid us being capped at the top of the tax apron if we want to add salary in a deal later)
