All of sudden the Nets are trying to be financially responsible.   I wonder if that's a sign the Russian owner is looking to sell the team at some point.  If so maybe Brook Lopez will go on the block if the team is looking to start over.  A risk because of his injury history, but a top notch offensive center. 

Greg Monroe has been discussed plenty on here recently.

With the Pacers losing Stephenson things could look a little shaky there.  I think they might have peaked last season, and with David West getting older they will eventually need a PF replacement.  If they ever fall to the middle of the pack or worse maybe they would consider trading George to start over.  I doubt it though as he is too good and too young to trade away soon.

Noah with the Bulls.   I think he is turning 30 soon.   If Rose is never himself again, they will still be a good team but never good enough.   I would love him on the C's in 2 years.

Al Hortford of the Hawks also around 30 years old.   Always a borderline all star and very solid.  How many years will the Hawks continue to hover around .500 just barely making the playoffs before they decide to start over. 

Out west I want to see how things develop with Cousins and the Kings over the next couple years.  If they never really improve will he ask out.   Letting I Thomas go, and signing Collison was a head scratching move, and they drafted shooting guards back to back years.   Not sure if they can rely on Gay to be a part of a winning mix.

Everyone knows Love's situation, but maybe the Wolves are stupid enough to hold on to him for the year until free agency.

With the Rockets, Clippers, Thunder and Trailblazers seem pretty stable right now, so I don't see their stars asking out.  However the Rockets haven't had a very good summer so far.  One key injury to any of these teams in a loaded west could change things.   Still a pipedream we can land Durant somehow in 2016.  Maybe Westbrook continues to have injuries and declines. 

Marc Gasol.  I can't see the Grizzlies getting any better than they are right now.   Tony Allen and Randolph are starting to get up there in age.  I wonder how things will look a year or 2 from now.

Kobe as the 6th man 2 years from now?  lol

Why do people think think that Gasol is available. Last year I read here a lot of daydreaming about Marc Gasol on the celtics.
First of all the Grizzles like him. He will probably re-sign with them.
Secondly the reasonsing is not make sense. People say Memphis is not getting better. But they are pretty good already.
So people say: Marc come to the Celtics. We know Memphis is a good team in the tough west, but come to the crappy celtics. It's just not make sense.

Why would the C's landing him be so farfetched? Their team is getting pretty old and I really do question how they will improve in the foreseeable future. A small market team with an aging roster an no young prospects is a bad combination.
