EMbid will be a great player unless injuries derail him. Actually seems like a nice kid too.

Haha I love the kids game, but his social media game is laughable.

He is the perfect example why some athletes shouldn't be on social media. LOL

Or should. Depends on how you look at it. He is hilarious. He doesn't even know it.

Someone was offended by this?  Embiid and Smart just both signed with Adidas.  If Embiid is teasing Smart, they must have hit if off.  Embiid seems like a really chill and funny guy.

In general, I don't get why people are so scornful of players when they get posterized making an honest attempt to defend.

Like when Jason Terry got dunked on by Lebron, it went viral. Why would anyone be surprised that Lebron could dunk on a player that's about half his size?

I mean, I would much rather any player on my team tried to defend those shots than just let them go in uncontested like some players do when they don't want to be on the highlight reel. For every time you get posterized like that, there are five more attempts that you've successfully disrupted by defending

Bingo. It speaks to how our culture is so superficial and results-oriented, in my opinion.

I love this, but at least Smart will play this year.

Burn. And I always like a much smaller guy having the guts to go up there, success or not. AB and Rondo have been burned in similar fashions but also caught similar 6'10-7'0 players off guard with a block or foul to disrupt the shot.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Same goes for Brandon Knight. I would rather have a player that is willing to hustle, and try to get in the way to foul or try to disrupt the shot than a player who is 'afraid,' of being dunked on, and will step out of the way.

I'll never forget the look and the disappointment on his face when they announced the Sixers got him.  Even if you don't like the team that picked you, you feign excitement.  He seems like a brat whose ego is now inflated now that he's an NBA player.

Not familiar with satellite delay?

that was such a lie, there was no delay of course they would say that. but even if there was, wouldnt you be smiling for the next hour or so after getting drafted? or the hour before you get drafted top 3?
