You have to admit, this offseason has been a roller coaster ride, although it hasn't ended yet. There were times where nothing happened, and there were times where signings happened every minute. There were many things that happened that were pretty ironic/unexpected in FA:

1. Many of us thought Melo would go to Chicago or Houston, he re-signs with NYK   ::)
2. Many of us thought LBJ would return to Miami, instead he returns "home" with the Cavs  ;D
3. Many of us thought Bosh would head to Houston, especially after LBJ bolted, instead he re-signs with Miami, and unexpectedly, he gets payed max  :-\
4. Many of us thought Lance Stephenson wouldn't be on the FA market in the first place, instead he rejects a 8.8M/yr offer from Indiana and signs with the Hornets for 3yrs/27M  :P
5. Many of us wanted to sign either Kent Bazemore, Jordan Hill, Ed Davis or Jason Smith for guard/center depth, instead they all sign elsewhere as a result from the three way trade that got us Zeller, Thornton   ;)
6. I remember someone made a post a while ago talking about the possibility of going after Marcus Thornton when he entered the market and many people disagreed and thought it would be a stupid move. Instead, Thornton is the guy we get along with Zeller in the unexpected but amazing three-way trade for the C's generated by Ainge (*applauds*)  8) Also since we sort of helped Cleveland land James
7. A lot of us thought Miami were no longer a legitimate playoff team without LBJ now. Instead, Pat Riley has made some good signings and the Heat look like a 3-4 seed at best and can make a run in he playoffs again  :(
8. Lot of players have been getting overpaid (Hayward 16M/yr, Parsons 15M/yr, Jordan Hill 9M/yr, all while Nowitzki is getting 8.6M/yr and Duncan 10M/yr    ???
9. We expected Bradley to be re-signed 6-6.5M a year, instead he gets 8M/yr which shocks us a bit. Not overpaid by much but still shocking at first glance. Also lots of 4yr/32 M deals in FA or is it just me?  :-\
10. Despite our tight cap space, we made a good move, got two assets, and still have MLE or some non-guaranteed contracts to gain more assets or help cap space for next year's FA  :D

Again, FA isn't over but many of the big moves have been made, now its just a few big name players remaining and mostly minor/rotation players left in the market.

If I may have missed an unexpected/ironic point that happened in FA let me know. Made this post just for fun and to show how FA can be fun/exciting (hopefully even more exciting for us Celtic fans next year)  ;D

Great post. Like you said, it's not over. Still time for 'fireworks'. Though I wouldn't be shocked if this 2015 squad pretty much resembles what they have now.

Rondo, Smart, Pressey
Bradley, Thornton, Young
Green, Wallace
Sully, Bass
Zeller, Olynyk

Works for me.  :D

Haha lol, TP, great points made. I agree with almost all of them. I still think the Celtics may make another move this FA, it's not over and the celtics do have interest in some players still out there (ex. Evan Turner).

Same, but just imagine if we add Evan Turner, that would be at least a playoff team. If not, I hope Moser gets in.

Rondo-Smart-Pressey
Green-Wallace-Moser/Turner
Sullinger-Olynyk-Bass
Bradley-Young-Thornton
Zeller-Faverani-Anthony
