Are you kidding me?

This guy was one of the bright stars of last season. How much did he sign for? We better be setting up for a huge tankaloosa next season because that is the only thing that looks like any plan here.

He signed with them, we worked out a sign and trade to get a TPE and a second round pick.

Aside from a 1 year deal, possibly with a team option next year (and I would be surprised if something along this lines wasn't offered) Humphries provides little value to this organization.

I'm honestly not surprised that Hump left Boston, with all the talk of Rondo and the Rockets maybe he thought it was time to jump ship.

I think the plan is: if we aren't going to compete for a championship, compete for the lottery. We are in year one of a multi-year rebuild. No surprises here (actually, I'm surprised we were able to get a TPE for Humphries).

I'm sure u also know this was at less than 19 minutes a game.  Kris is a very solid player, can play PF and C very well/  I was very impressed with his play last year.  He's a good bench player for a contending club.  This tells me its time for TANKAPALOOZA II

Like most people pointed out, we can't develop our young guys if we have Vets that should be getting the playing time. Plus if DA is planning on tanking he hurts out shot.:P

I do have to say that DA has gotten a lot out of that KG and PP trade last summer. He may have not done anything big, yet, but he's really been active and have moved forward.

Washington was smart. They got Pierce and Humphries on the cheap.
But we are looking to develop our young players, so it doesn't work for us.
I would have loved to see Pierce come back, however.
