Well, LeBron got his binkie. Or at least one of them.

Wonder if the means no Ray Alllen. I saw on Twitter he was still contemplating if he should play this season.

I don't know, Ray prefers location stability and doesn't like having to uproot his family.  ;)

TP.  Don't forget the medical facilities as well for his son.  I'm not making fun of the kid in any way, but Boston has far superior doctors, hospitals, and medical schools to Miami.  I would think, anyway.  I mean, Ohio has the Cleveland Clinic, so that would at least make sense, I just don't like how he occasionally uses his son's condition in reports about the factors he considers when deciding where to land, only to leave the great doctors in new england for miami.  It just seems...tacky, and cheap, among other things.

Didn't Fisher also use his daughter's sickness card while he was playing for Utah to relocate to LA also?

I thought Wade was his primary binkie. Wade now cries before he sleeps because bron bron is gone.

Does Miami still pay the difference between his amnestied salary and the first year of the Cleveland deal (6.6M - 2.7M) or do they pay the original amount plus Miller gets paid by Cleveland since it's a new contract? If it's the former, then Denver's offer wouldn't have mattered, at least for the first year.

I would actually respect Ray more if he stays in Miami another year as a solid bench player, and probably less if he went to Cleveland.  That would solidify his legacy as a ring chaser/LeBron groupie.

I always assumed Ray truly chose Miami because of how much better the golf is.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
