I will admit I find it odd that Bosh is getting paid almost 6-7M more than Wade now. Idk it may just be me.

Wade's treated Miami pretty well. Won them their first championship, helped bring Bron, took a paycut the first time and is now taking another one. He's been a great franchise guy honestly.

I agree. I will admit sometimes I hate when he flops on the court but other than that he's a class guy. He's done so much for Miami. Like Dirk, he is doing it for the team. They probably won't be contenders but likely a 3 seed at best this season.

Dwayne Wade's first five or six seasons were extraordinarily fun to watch, when he was healthy.

This is a nice gesture from Miami, but the dude is beyond burnt.

This deal makes sense. He is overpaid, but opted out at a higher rate for the team's benefit, and should be compensated for that.  He will always be the face of the franchise.

Yep, he was injured a good chunk of last year too so that hurt his stats a bit.

AP source pulled back on the dollar amount.

If its under the $42 million he was originally owed I'll be very surprised.

So Wade opted out of 2 years $45 million and just signed a deal for the same amount of time making substantially less.

Wade will be a part owner. There is a side deal here.

Yeah, but if that's what your client wants...

True but isn't the agent also an advisor? No matter what Wade might've said, the agent's not gonna look good.

He's probably caught between a rock & a hard place, though.

I don't think its hard to explain to your other clients though.

I will have to politely disagree with the class act statement.  DWade is one of the dirtiest players in the league.  Remember Rondo having his elbow dislocated?  Wade was beaten by Rondo so he grabbed him and hurt him on purpose.  Every time Wade has a chance he will throw an elbow or take a cheap shot.  I feel the same way about Chalmers.
