Today is decision time for Phil Pressey, after today his contract becomes guaranteed.

So that means two things, if they had plans on using him in a trade as a non-guaranteed contract, this is the last opportunity.

Otherwise the decision is to keep him or not.

What do you guys think will happen?

I have little doubt he'll stick around, he's short money after all. Plus he's another non-guaranteed contract for next year.

Agreed. I think he stays.

With Rondo and Smart as the only other real ball handlers on the team, I see Danny keeping him around.  ESPECIALLY since it's a cheap deal
I'm bitter.

So far our PG:
Rondo - Smart - Thornton - Pressy

Yeah most likely we won't sign Pressy...

Thornton's not a pg.

I think we keep Pressey because he's an NBA player. I think Bogans, Johnson and Babb all get dealt before the season. Hopefully for someone who can protect the rim.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'm not saying we will or won't keep Pressey, but Marcus Thornton is more likely to play the 3 in small lineups than he is to play PG.

is he too small for 3?? could have misread him from SG to PG

If we remove him.. this will make Pressy as our 3rd tier PG...

If we keep Pressey, it's because he comes dirt cheap. He's quite far from a legitimate NBA player at this point of his career.

Yes especially with the uncertainty of rondo remaining with the club
