Pau makes the most sense. Howard and Gasol is a dominate front court , and no way LA matches IMO

Gasol and Howard didn't really work the first time around, not sure Pau agrees to a reunion.

If Monroe can play the 4 all the time I like that front court.

Rondo? Lin to the Lakers means they need a point guard and Bosh resign w/Miami means they run the risk of their off season going w/out a big-name aquisition. I assume they match Dallas' offer on Parsons? If they match for 3yr 46 mill could they sign and trade him to another team like Boston? If no, Terrance Jones +? or three way trade... maybe w/ Indy and Stephenson or Hibbert???

Pau and Howard didn't work because of the coaching. It could work under McHale.

I don't think Monroe has enough range to play well next to Dwight.  Same kind of spacing problems he has with Drummond.  Plus Detroit can stall til after they match Parsons' offer then match Monroe's, and Houston will be screwed.  Very dangerous to go after any RFA.

Pau's a good bet, remember Morey actually almost traded for him in the vetoed Chris Paul deal.  Seems like a logical next choice.

The earliest Parsons can be traded is December if I'm not mistaken. Might be January. They definitely can't flip him right away though.

Let Parsons leave. Bledsoe is better.

Yea , exactly

They had , a pick and roll/pop ,fast break coach in D'Antoni . McHale would actually run the offense through Gasol in the High post, and Howard in the low post, playing to both of their strengths . They don't have a PG to run any lead any type of offense for them, but Howard/ Gasol could be very good if used properly .

Yeah, but then how do they fill the 3 spot with little to no cap space left over?  The big advantage of keeping Parsons is they can fill their cap space with a high-level talent, then match on Parsons.  An MLE guy is not likely to help them much.

Plus, if Phoenix matches, Houston is now out Parsons, Bledsoe, and probably every other possible top free agent they'd have a shot at.  Too risky.

Wojo just tweeted that Gasol is lean with either the Bulls or Spurs....

I'm hoping Spurs, him and Duncan would be a great!
