Anybody know what year our Cleveland first rounder is in, and if there are any protections?

The Cleveland Cavaliers created cap space with their three-team trade involving Jarrett Jack.

The cap space is clearly earmarked for LeBron James, but they have received no assurances from him.

The Cavaliers' Plan B is to pursue Trevor Ariza with part of that space.

That's a pretty steep drop from Plan A to Plan B.  If they go with Plan B, we may be waiting awhile for the Cleveland pick.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Reportedly, the pick is Top 10 protected in 2016,, 2017, 2018, and completely unprotected in 2019.  If LeBron spurns them, I've still got to guess they'll back into a selection 11 or higher at some point.  Too much talent on that team not to at least finish 9th in the conference sometime between 2016 and 2018.  But if LeBron stays in Miami, it's unlikely that pick will be in the 20s.
