I am pretty sure he had his meniscus removed in college , the same thing that Drose and E Bledsoe had repaired this year. Medical advancement has made that injury much easier and able to repair instead of removing. I am pretty sure that is why Dwade is not holding up.

This is correct -- and yes, that's a large part of it, although I believe Wade did have the choice between the two and opted for removal, rather than repair.
Well the repair was not as efficient as it is today. Bledsoe had it repaired and came back in the same season. With 20/20 vision I'm sure a lot of heat fans wish they could go back and tell Wade not to have it removed.Imagine if Wade was still the same...they may have gone 3/4...and would be working on a 4peat.

Wade only continues because of injection and drugs that allow him to perform.

If he practices heavy .....to stay in shape .....workout cardio ......then it wearing on his body trying to stay in pro NBA shape ...his game requires this

So it's a catch 22 situation..... How to practice hard , stay in prime shape , when your body is already worn out ......and still have enough drugs to play 80 games.

I d dump the guy .

I read all of the comments, and I do agree he is not the player he once was and if he is really looking for a max deal, then there is no way he is worth it.

But if he can redefine his role and sign a less than max deal, I think he can still be a big part of a championship formula for the next couple of years.

Im thinking a more productive Ginobili. And if a more productive Ginobili is available in FA, I would think he would be getting more buzz. Instead, everyone is treating him like he cant play anymore.

Im not necessarily the biggest Wade fan, but the guy has been on winning teams his whole career and it is pretty impressive.

maintenance program all throughout the year specifically to keep him fresh for the Finals,

Basketball is the best way to keep in shape for basketball.  I wonder if Sully has the same maintenance program?

Wade has declined big time.  The NBA season isn't 40 games.  The only way to keep Wade in top form, is not only to regularly sit him out during the regular season but he is also going to need to sit out some playoff games.  It doesn't matter how much he rests throughout the season if he is going to play decent minutes throughout the playoffs as a whole.

If they don't want to sit him out in the occasional playoff game throughout the playoffs, maybe they should look into keeping him out until midway through the second round.  They are going to have to try something different because Wade has shown that the way the Heat are managing him is not working once the playoff grind arrives.
