I would take this with a grain of salt though as Chris Sheridan isn't known as the most respected or credible reporter out there.

I'd stick with the following reporters:

Wojo
David Aldridge
Marc Stein
Chad Ford
Bill Simmons

Bill Simmons isn't a reporter with inside information. He is an entertaining writer who makes observations and repeats what he hears from guys like Stein, Jalen Rose, etc at espn.

I think Riley has it lined up for Lebron, and Bosh bolt to Houston.

Sheridan just makes hyperbolic statements to get traffic to his site.  I hope this happens, but "90%" is a nonsense number.
Sheridan stopped doing good work after a few months on his site.

If that happens, I really hope they decide to target Melo in a sign-and-trade instead of trading Wiggins for Love.  If I'm Phil and it looks like Melo is leaving for nothing (to Houston, chicago, etc), I take Bennett, Waitors and Thompson for Melo in a heartbeat.

Cleveland would have more depth and talent without trading those 3.  I think they will be young and stacked if Lebron signs with up with their current roster.  A lot of youth, depth and versatility.

I think they would move Waiters but that's it. Kyrie, Wiggins, Lebron, Thompson and Varejo is a great young core. I bet Ray goes there to give them some shooting. Might not win it next year but that core would be scary good in 2-3 years and Lebron is still the best in the game.

If he does go there what a luxury for Wiggins. Just play D and let him develop on offense at his own pace. Wiggins  and Lebron in transition would be scary....

Agree. It was an obvious transition.

I reiterate, 90% is a meaningless number.

To be clear, Sheridan seems to be saying that 90% is his source's estimate, not Sheridan's own.  The actually number isn't important as much as where it sits relative to other numbers.  It's more than 50% and less than 100%, but closer to the latter, so whoever is Sheridan's source seems to be comfortable betting on Lebron James going to Cleveland, but not strong enough to guarantee James returns to the Cavs.

If that number is coming from someone on the Cavs' side of things, that confidence is almost certainly on the optimistic side.  If it's coming from Lebron's camp, it could be serious or it could be a plant meant to motivate Pat Riley to some action.  If it's coming from Miami, that would be clear pessimism.

It's described as a "plugged-in source", so I would speculate that Sheridan's source is someone getting second-hand information, possibly another sports journalist.

I think Lebron will re-sign for 3 years in Miami, with an opt out after 2 (won't there be another CBA in place by then, when he might have a chance to make much more money anyway?), at which time he'll only be 31.  In the next 2 years, I think he has a better chance of winning a championship in Miami than he would with that young Cleveland roster right now, which needs a little seasoning.  He may well have a better shot in Cleveland after two more years, in my opinion.  They've got a lot of talent, albeit young talent.

And he breaks stories by accident over Twitter.
