Unfortunately, I think this makes a lot of sense.  It was described well here:

there's another reason for the Lakers to be considered a top option for Melo; the books are so bare that L.A. could have space for a max free agent in 2015. Despite Kobe making $23 million next season and Melo pulling a max deal over $20 million, only Randle will also be on the books, depending on what else L.A. does this season. If the salary cap continues to increase, there could be space for a max player. Like, say, Kevin Love.

Doesn't mean anything, this stuff happens. Am I right that Kobe and Melo have worked out together in the off-season before? Add to that Love is a west coast guy. Doubt they can add another max next year, Pau is not going to take a 1 year deal.

Just like people read into him coming here?   That was ok but this is not, LOL.   I think Love wants to go back to Cali and this has been his plan all along.

I see where both of you are coming from. It's not unusual to see athletes workout together, especially in L.A. It's very unusual for an athlete to come to Boston to just check the town out. I get where you're coming from given the fact that these guys are free agents ( free agent to be) and L.A. is one of the places that they're considered to be going to. Can't just look at it like it's only a coincidence.
