"What" is Olynyk?
I will insist he is not a "power forward." He is not big enough, fast enough or physical enough to be a starting PF. He has an inadequate reach to be a power forward.
Superb shooter, passer, floor flow guy. Beyond measure. Will be fine with a solid defense around him, but there will always be the danger of a mismatch and opposing coaches will play for this.
Olynyk is a sixth man...which by no means is an insult. If he is your team's starting power forward, your front court is going to get beat up by a lot of opposing front courts.
Olynyk is the ultimate summer league star because his IQ is unmatched and there isn't any competent front court defensive play in summer league.
The guy is a 7 ft two guard and potentially the best 7 ft two guard in the NBA....who do you want to be chuckin' shots this season? AB? Smart?.....I've been waiting for Olynyk to hang 40 points on a team some night, he certainly has it in him.
