When's the earliest we can trade Bradley? Not til what, Dec 15th? It's unfortunate we can't throw him in a Love deal.

I think it's via a Chandler Parsons sign and trade when Bosh signs with the Rockets.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

He has NOT been officially signed yet---so he CAN be used in the Love deal now--maybe that is why this deal was agreed upon so quickly.

He can only be used in the Love deal if he wants to go to Minnesota since it'd be a sign-and-trade.

This really shouldn't be news to anyone.   Ainge will keep trying to land Love until the bitter end.  And if/when that plans fails, he'll probably think hard about pulling the trigger on a Rondo trade.

AB's signing isn't official yet, and no details have been given out, and Stevens and DA wont comment on it.

Very slim chance, but AB's new contract could be a S&T. You add that with the rumor that Minni likes Humps, theres an other S&T guy. That could equal Loves contract right there. Anything else would be gravy.

I'd try to keep Smart and Young, I don't think Minni has any need for them from what they drafted.

So AB,Humps,Sully, Throw in the Clips pick, and the 2018 Nets, and maybe Philly's second rounders and maybe one of our 1st after 2018 and call it a day.

Perhaps THAT is why his deal is $32 Million....which we all agree is too much---Hey Avery, You'll really like it in Minny-!

I wonder what 3rd team they can pull in?

What about we move Bogans, Vitor, Anthony, Babb, Johnson, Pressey, our 2015 1st, Philly's 2015 1st back to them, and the rights to Young for Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams.

Then trade Thaddeus Young , Bass, Carter-Williams, Olynyk, and the two Nets picks for Love and Martin?

Leaves us with Rondo, Bradley, Smart,  Martin, Green, Love, Sullinger for a Top 7.  Use the MLE for Ed Davis or Jordan Hill.

Would be nice---we'd still have to throw in a couple of Picks...AND include Bogans---to take back a Bad contract in KMartin.

Why stop at that? Throw in Rondo and Green before you call it a day? Are you Phil Saunders? If not , how can you deal AB, Hump, Sully Clip pick. Nets 2018, Philly's second. and a first from Celtics? That is AB, Hump, Sully, and three firsts, and a second, for Love?

Maybe I misread you and the first part of your post was really meant to mean AB Humps Sully. ;D

I still expect Love to be here by the end of July.

Hope you're right, my friend!

It's not that much more than what the original rumored offer was which was Sully/KO, plus both of this years picks and future picks. Which is the low ball, get things talking offer.

AB doesn't play a full season, and Humps while would be nice to have, can help make the money work and is rumored getting interest from Minni, which is hard. With Love, we don't need Love/Sully/KO/Bass at the PF spot, so Humps and Sully gone. KO would be a heck of a back up.

Since we'd keep this years picks we'd still need to give up at least two first rounders. And since we don't know where they are going to be, Philly's second rounders. Out side of the 2018 pick, they aren't going to be all that good of picks, and if we have Love and Rondo, with a potential of bringing in a high quality FA in the next two seasons, we don't need a bunch of draft picks.

I did forget to say we'd bring back a contract or two. Maybe Martin and an other cheap player.

Rondo/Smart/Pressey
Martin/Smart
Green/Young/PP?
Love/KO/Bass
Hill/Fav/Iverson

Even giving up all of that we still have a really good team next year that can become better the year after, and the year after that.

No one has said, at least any one sane has said that bringing in Love this year we would win a championship. But doing this would be a huge stepping stone into getting to that point. Love would get a taste of the playoffs in Boston and would resign. So would Rondo, and maybe if luck an other good FA.

Yeah it's a lot to give up, but A:It could beat what ever any team throws out, and B:We can afford it.

Oh, and it's Flip Saunders, not Phil.  ;)
