Source: Knicks told Melo tonight that he can have max contract. Privately, they have told him this all along. Reiterated it tonight.

Every one needs to wait once Lebron, Wade, Bosh and Carmelo sign to their teams. Be patient.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact the C's have no cap space.

He's waiting for Melo and Lebron to land, then all other teams will have a better idea of what they want to do.

I'm sure DA has things lined up in with teams that think they are in the mix or something. I bet Love is still a first priority, but has to see what teams like Huston,Chicago offer if they don't win the Lebron/Melo lottery.

If he loses out on Love I think the next move is Rondo.

All warfare is based on deception.

Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.

I guess I was just wondering where the Lakers got all that money to offer Melo. I thought the Lakers were supposed to be in a bad situation cap wise?

Nah. He doesn't want Melo. Danny usually is silent, but boy, when the trade comes it explodes like a whole lotta mentos on a one liter bottle of diet soda.

Because Danny doesn't panic like an idiot and do something stupid for the sake of doing something.
