Trade idea for great rim protector

why not trade rondo to the bucks for henderson and a first rounder.

why Bucks do it

They do it because then they have a star in rondo,future star in jabari parker and larry saunders

why Celtics do it

we get our starting center and a bucks 1st rounder. they won't be good for a little bit especially in the super stacked west. we have our pg in smart. Then all we need to do is sign an young free agent who is strong at offense. whats that offensive free agents are everywhere wow that worked out. then we can bundle jeff green and bass togther for something and make use of the TPE. potentally use it to make the henson trade happen. Also henson is  only 23  and on rookie contract.

I totally agree to your idea about getting Henson and I proposed it on a couple of other threads on this site but other posters really did not have a great deal of enthusiasm about him. That may be only because Milwaukee was a horrible team to watch this year. Like others have said, I don't think Rondo is going to agree to sign in Milwaukee. Maybe a smaller trade for Henson, like our Clippers pick and filler, would be easier to do?

Theyre in the East buddy and this is a ridiculous idea... Ur trading rondo for a C who wouldnt even start on the bucks...

Henson is extremely long and he is more accomplished than some of the names thrown around for a F/C.  He isnt as athletic as Ed Davis or Ekpe Udoh, but he has freakishly long arms.  11 pts, 7 rebs, 1.7 blocks per game.

If they were looking to trade him, I imagine we would have to take on Mayo.  Bass and Vitor match up salary-wise, so they would have no financial obligation after this coming year.

I think we get 3 years of Henson at a cheap price if we take on 2 bad years of Mayo's contract?

Yes Mayo would create a logjam at SG.  Flip him to Lakers for Nash?  If Nash retired that would be a help financially.

Of corse the Lakers could go straight to the Bucks for a Nash/Mayo swap.  We just need to offer Vitor and the right draft pick for Henson.

There were people proposing a trade for Henson before the draft. Who knows what direction MIL is going, but if Henson or Larry Sanders were made available Id like to get them; but not for Rondo. Rondo's value and our direction is very hard to tell now. But I still think we could get more for him.

I doubt Henson is available, as Sanders is too unpredictable, and they just let go of Udoh. We might be better off signing Udoh as FA, pay him minimum. Used to be a good shot blocker.
