Silly season has begun (actually, probably started with the Meeks deal).

Yeah, this came out of nowhere to me... and not sure what the Magic were thinking here. Will need to study their cap and depth situation. But given how I had to check if Ben Gordon still played in this league, I'm not sure why Orlando jump on this and this early in Free-Agency.

So random.

Remember that epic 1st round series against the Bulls in 09 when he in Ray went at it? Its sad when talented players fade out.

They did just drop Afflalo and Nelson -- need a little bit of guard depth.

Especially a guard that can shoot. Well, assuming Gordon can still shoot.

Reclamation project? Veteran presence on a young team? Seems like a rich deal for Ben given the past couple years.

Seems like every FA deal so far has been a rich deal...

Second year is a team option at least.

Some of these free agents are probably moving quickly to lock up money when they have a shot at getting more by waiting (but a chance of getting less).  Bradley, for example, might have gotten more if he had waited for a team that failed to sign Lance Stephenson going after him as the next best thing, but he also risked being forced to take less.

funny this guy panned out exactly the way I thought he would. in fact I didn't know he still played.

anyway, this is why I can't stand streak shooters that don't do anything else and he is/was the definition of a streak shooter that did nothing else. players like this are a waste of time.
