Well, I suppose there's some merit in making Ainge the holder of the "I gave out the worst max contract in the history of the NBA" mantle.

Because that's what giving the wildly overrated Rondo $100 million would be. $20 million a year for Rondo? I haven't laughed that hard in months.

Maybe Ainge could trade with other GM's then. They'd die laughing at him.

I'm going to wait and take a look at what Lebron, Wade, and Bosh agree to sign for and suggest to Rondo that he might not want to ask for more than any of them, if they sign for less than the max.

Yes, let's def watch that situation since "rumor has it" that LeBron is demanding a max salary wherever he goes - even if he resigns in Miami.
