Everybody on this board has been so p---ed off since it didnt look like we where getting Love. What about a strong offer for Cousins? Either Sully and  Kelly w Bradley young bogans expiring with a few 3 future first round picks. To me I would go all in on Cousins.

In my opinion Cousins is untouchable. Would love to have him here but I just don't see Sacramento trading him.

I'm sure he is not available for anything we have.

Because Cousins just signed an extension with SAC and they have no reason to trade him. We would have to give up the farm for him.

Didnt everybody want to give up the farm for LOVE? Cousins is the best Center in the game right now and is still young enough to have more upside. I would be willing to go all in on him. If you gave them an offer they couldnt refuse why not do it.

Why does everyone keep posting trade ideas for players that teams are likely to want to keep and build around?

What are you going to offer?  Maybe Smart, Young, Sullinger, Olynyk, and a few firsts will tempt Sacramento.

Sacramento is trying to win sooner rather than later.  You'd have to wow them
with a package of vets to get Cousins.  Like a 3 way with Detroit where they
get Rondo, Josh Smith and Monroe...

Celtics get Cousins, Isiah Thomas and salary, and swap James Young and Stauskas

Pistons get Sully, Jason Thompson, Jeff Green, salary, a draft pick from Kings and a couple draft picks from the Celtics but not 2015 Celts first rounder...

Smart, Thomas, Pressey
Stauskas, Bradley
Wallace, Johnson
Olynyck, Bass
Cousins, Olynyck, Fav.

Next year's draft grab a stud power forward or stud small forward and hit free agency hard....

Kings start    Rondo, McLemore, Gay, Smoove, Monroe

Pistons start  Jennings, Pope, Green, Sully, Drummond

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
Next years draft has plenty of options for center...I'm sure Danny will be following the college basketball season closely.

But why wait for next year? Cousins is a proven talent. The odds of getting one of those top Centers in the draft slim to none.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Because SacTo will say no, so there's no point even giving them a call.

not meant to win now...more like a solve the center problem once and for all trade
and going young.  Some good small lineup possibilities

Smart, Bradley, Stauskas
Thomas, Smart, Stauskas

Wallace is still on the team and is likely to stay unless maybe he goes in a big Rondo trade but I doubt Ainge will be able to include him.  If it's completely unpalatable the trade for a new SF for this year or sign one.  But I'd expect lottery again and a great free agency next year...
