AB imo is as good as gone after Marcus Smart was picked.

Not a big fan of a Marcus Smart and Rondo backcourt bc both guys need the ball to be effective plus are not great shooters.  But you never know , maybe it can workout.

Or maybe not. One thing thats for sure is that the celts won't be desperate to have to hold onto Rondo or have to overpay for his next contract

We'll know in about 10 minutes if we take either Harris or Hood

Why not try a Rondo/Bradley/Smart rotation?

I hope not. A 3-man rotation of Rondo-Bradley-Smart would be quite awesome.

If we retain Bradley, we solidify the Center position, and we're pretty much 2 deep with talent/useful role-players in all positions.

Question mark on Wallace, who I really don't have much of a problem with a back-up role, but could be upgraded.

But we're solid in the 4th spot with talent and youth.

So let's solidify the 5th spot, and we have the assets to make it happen.

This sounds right. Hopefully C's get back some assets for AB in a sign-and-trade rather than just letting him go.

Unless there is a major trade or free agent signing based on Rondo comments he's not staying for a rebuild. He will enter that major free agent class of 2015 with a chance to team up with two or three stars.

I'm surprised people are suprised by this. He's gone. No doubt.

Grande said as much on two pre draft shows. The Rondo situation next year could be just like the Love situation.

I think both Rondo and Bradley will be gone, actually.

I think the Lakers still make some sense. Rondo for Randle and Nash's expiring contract.

Smart
Young
Randle

Would be some nice young pieces. Hello looonnnggg rebuild.

Depends on how bad AB wants to remain a Celtic.

I don't think DA will pay him a fortune or crazy contract to stay with these two picks.

Plus there is Pressey too.....a mini me Marcus Smart

Babb is replaced and maybe Chis Johnson too
