The kid scores, plays great defense, has good athleticism, and is passionate.  He's a hothead, but I'd rather have a guy with fire than somebody who doesn't care.

The lack of self-control is a bit of a red flag, but he's got legit talent and competitiveness.

I think you may have inadvertently hit the hammer on the head.  "He is a great athlete".  When you look at this Celtic team there aren't any great athletes.  Everyone is basically over-matched or plays even when playing against almost every team.  Bradley was a defensive stud, but he's not what he used to be.  Marcus anchors this team on defense.  Well, that's my guess.

I personally loved the pick...

I loved the kid since last year, and loved that he slipped to us.

6'4' at 225 (I think ESPN said he was 230?). He is all muscle, quick, strong, can score and a pitbull on defense...

I know he is a point guard and people here crucify him for not being a shooter, but hey, that can improve...I want to slip him over at the 2 and play with Rondo.

It's amazing people on this board think Rondo is going to be here. Unless there is a major shake up or trade they need to trade him ASAP. He's leaving via free agency. How many times do we need to hear him say he wants to compete for championships. Not happening here anytime soon.
