Lessee, worst case scenario for me would be:
1) We don't trade for Love and instead he ends up in Cleveland with Carmelo. Minnesota picks Wiggins who goes on to play 4-6 years as the best SG in the NBA, carrying the TWolves to the first round of the playoffs & out a couple of times before (like KG & Love before him) getting traded.
2) We trade Rondo in order to get the #8 pick plus some chump change.
3) We use the #6 & the #8 to take Smart and Randle.
4) Embiid gets taken by the Lakers at #7. He becomes the next Hakeem.
5) We trade the #17 and Green and Olynyk in a complicated deal that moves us into the #12 spot (Orlando), hoping to take the next available true Center in Nurkic, but he and Gordon go just ahead of us at #9 & 10. So we reach with the pick and take Capela (who we probably could have gotten at #17 or even lower).
6) Somehow, our #17 pick gets exchanged through a few teams, ending up in the hands of Miami, who takes Shabazz Napier, who goes on to be the missing piece that causes the SuperFriends to re-unite in South Beach ...
The end result is we end up with no Rondo, no Green, no Olynyk, but instead have Smart, Randle & Capela who ends up being a 2 year draft-and-stash project in Europe. Sully, realizing he's going to have to play Center again, gets depressed and shows up at training camp weighing 296 lbs.
Oh, and Bradley gets an offer sheet for 9M from some idiot GM and Danny, after the draft debacle, feels compelled to match and signs him to a huge overpay. Bradley then hurts his ankle in a pickup game this summer.
Ugh. I'm making myself depressed ...
Thankfully I can't imagine Danny being that incompetent.
Edit: Had to send Carmelo to Cleveland since at the end I had the SuperFriends still in Miami.
