#Celtics trying to secure "at least" one pick in the second round. Philly and Milwaukee two potential partners, according to sources.


If this is true, then I would think #6 & #17 are possibly moving...how many rookies can one team handle?

I feel like Danny literally picks a random person from his "pool" of 2nd round choices. Colton Iverson felt extremely random to me. Colton is probably never going to play in the NBA, so this is dannys way of gambling.

I think etwaun Moore was the time he wasn't random, instead hoping to make jajuan look good and raise his stock value by playing with his high school and college buddy. He ended up drafting someone better than jajuan, see why you gamble?

its a good draft and a guy you take 40 could be as good as a 15 next year.. you can stockpile these guys in the d league/ overseas whereever.. its a good move as long as you dont give up too much.. trade exceptions work here too

tbh, I don't think we will draft Saric. I don't think Danny is patient enough to wait for this player to come back in 2 years and see if he can contribute or develop him

he is either in - win now mode or draft a player, and build around him quickly

yeah right. Half the team is not under contract next season. Rondo and green are prob gone in 6 hours. Colton Iverson gets cut and the d leaguers might too.

idk if you notice but were tanking next year  too.

To me this doesn't sound good.  >:( Danny trying to stockpile talent so that Stevens can develop them into trade able assets in 2015.

Maybe Ainge expects to make moves that will result in the Celtics being severely capped out for the next few years and is looking for cheap bench options.

I think the target is Nick Johnson out of Arizona, DJs nephew and a very similar player to bayless, he worked out twice for the Cs.
